Prior to the examinationIt would be a good idea to refrain from smoking or taking caffeine prior to your exam as these activities may increase your blood pressure. In addition, if you are on medication for blood pressure, take them in a timely manner prior to your exam.
We may need the following: 1. Results of stress test or echo performed within the past 2 years if you have/had a heart condition (stent, bypass, a-fib, angina). 2. List of all current medications that you are taking. 3. A1C results if you are diabetic. 4. CPAP compliance report if you have sleep apnea. You can either fax us your results at (419) 386-2447, or you can e-mail it to us at tricounty1485@gmail.com. During the physical you will be asked to provide a urine sample for the purpose of testing glucose, protein, blood, and specific gravity. You will NOT be tested for drugs during a routine physical. |
